Boots to Broadway 2026 Black History Month

February 6, 2026 at “The Cultch” Historic Theatre, Sponsored by CN, USW Local 1944, in partnership with Hogan’s Alley Society, JrBAA was proud to present Boots to Broadway — a high-energy Black History Month concert featuring acclaimed actress and two-time Juno Award winner Lovena B. Fox.

Lovena B. Fox took audiences on a powerhouse musical journey that spanned country, soul, rock ’n’ roll, and Broadway. From unforgettable hits by legends like Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé, Patsy Cline, and Tina Turner to showstopping numbers from Porgy and Bess, Evita, and Jersey Boys, the evening was a dynamic celebration of music and storytelling.

Through her electrifying one-woman show, Boots to Broadway, Lovena brought The Cultch to life with extraordinary talent, boundless energy, and heartfelt passion. Her captivating performance mesmerized the audience and left guests inspired and thoroughly entertained.

This Black History Month concert also created an outstanding opportunity for JrBAA. By placing our organization front and center, Miss Fox introduced JrBAA to a new and diverse audience, expanding our reach and strengthening our presence within the community.

We are sincerely grateful for her passion, generosity, and unwavering support of JrBAA.

Please join us in extending our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to Lovena B. Fox for an unforgettable evening and her continued commitment to uplifting our work.
